Eric Uhrynowski is an internationaly recognized artist living full-time in Punta de Mita, Mexico, where he practices gyotaku - the traditional Japanese art of fish printing. Using real fish, sumi ink, and washi paper, Eric started "Hook & Ink" as a project to captures the natural beauty of the ocean. His work celebrates both marine life and sustainability, as he catches, prints, and then consumes or donates each fish. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind impression honoring the connection between ocean and art.
